My one sentence review would be: If you like magical adventures and fairies you’ll love this book!
This book is about a girl called Mab. She received a book for her birthday about Victorian fairies. One day she finds a white flower inside the pages which leads her to a magical adventure!
I won’t tell you the details of my favourite part because it would be a spoiler, but I quite liked the ending because it’s really happy and emotional!
I chose to review this book because it’s one of my favourite books I’ve read so far, by my favourite author, and I hope you love it too!
This book is best for kids who like wonder and magic and are aged 9+.

You Choose In Space

This book is about space where you go through and answer questions about loads of thing about robots and space.
My favorurite part was when the crazy animals got mixed up like the dinosaur-monkey and pig-frog! I like robots being in every page.
I reviewed this book because it’s funny!
This book is best for kids who like robots, and are aged 3 – 8.

Impossible Creatures

My one sentence review would be: Impossible creatures is an adventurous , wonder filled book by Catherine Rundell , it is a mystifying and magical read with the true element of fantasy inside.
This book is about a girl called Mal and boy called Christopher, together, they go on a daring journey , an intrepid quest. Read this book to find out more!
My favourite part was when Mal and Christopher met the magical creatures called Dryads.
I reviewed this book because it was a book with a huge sense of adventure and imagination.
This book is best for kids who like wonder and magic, and are aged 8 – 14.
The BFG

This book is about 1 friendly giant with the others hungry for humans!
My favourite part was when the BFG locked all the man eating giants in a 50ft hole, only feeding them ‘snozzcumbers’ ( a horrible vegetable).
I reviewed this book because I enjoyed learning about it and I like reading creative fiction books.
This book is best for kids who like creative books and imaginary fiction characters, and are aged 4+.
Nura and the Immortal Palace

My one sentence review would be “If you like unexpected and amazing books you’ll love this book it is totally brimming with new ideas”.
I am thrilled by the sense of adventure in this book. It as about a girl who digs in the mines. One day she is trying to find a treasure and ends up in a whole new world!
My favourite part was when Nura discovers the world of Jinn because it is so exciting to read about what’s going to happen next.
This book is best for kids aged 7+ who like magic and things that are a little bit different.
The Last Journey

I like that Puskin never gives up (no matter what) to travel to the island.
My favourite part was when Puskin got adopted and finally got a home.

This book is about the main character getting into funny situations like “I’ve had a Code Brown”.
My favourite part was when the main chatacter was changing and his teacher was shouting a lot.
I chose this book because it is really funny and it is suitable for any age.
This book is best for kids who like really funny stories, and are 5-100 years old.

My one sentence review would be “If you like adventure, friendship and a bit of glam you’ll love this book”.
I liked that Daisy made a new friend on the beach and her friend is in a different Jacqueline Wilson book called “Cooky”. I also like that there are so many surprises along the way!
My favourite part was when Daisy saw her nemesis Chloe go into their camping tent. It was so surprising. I had no idea what would happen next!
I think this book is best for kids who like adventure and fun and are 8+ years old.
Rosie Revere Engineer

My one sentence review would be “If you like to get creative and messy you’ll love this book because Rosie Revere is both of those things”.
I like that this book has lots of rhymes and it relates to real problems. My favourite part was when Rosie made her invention do exactly what she wanted it to and all the illustrations are amazing!
I think this book is best for kids who like fun, creative books and are between 2 and 10.
What Dad thinks: We have loved reading this book to Penny and Page for most of their lives. It’s funny, well written, and teaches the lesson to never give up or be afraid to make mistakes.
Victor - The wolf with worries

My one sentence review would be “If you like books about underdogs you’ll love this because it’s a book where people keep on trying”.
I liked how Victor and Paulo make Victor’s worries go away by putting them in pretend bubbles and blowing his worries away.
My favourite part was when his friend Paulo first asked if he was okay because it is a kind thing to do.
I think this book is best for kids who like solving their problems and are between 4 and 10.
Dad says: It might be a little thin for a 10 year old but it’s a beautiful book.
Frida Kahlo

I like that Frida never gives up and keeps going and painting. I also think she had so much determination and I really like how Maria has made her life into a book.
My favourite part was when Frida started painting because she had so much to create and did create it even though she was hurt.
I think this book is best for kids who like to help others, have strong kind ambitions, and are 4 – 11 years old.

I like that Greta decided to make a change for the world.
My favourite part was when she decided to sit on the side-walk holding a sign that said “Change for Climate” because she wanted to make a change.

Zog and the Flying Doctors

I liked this book because it proves that you can be whatever you want no matter how different you are.
My favourite part was when Pearl discovered all the ingredients for the cure.

Dad says: You just cant go wrong with Julia Donaldson… even I enjoy reading them!
Into the Wild

My one sentence review would be “You’ll love this book if you like nature because it is full of detail and the cats live among, and face, natural dangers.”
This book is about a kitty pet called Rusty by his two-legs (owners). He wonders into the forest and finds mysterious cats. This book is a mystifying and wonderous story.
My favourite part was when Rusty met the fierce, loyal, clan cats because I liked meeting different characters and discovering and reading about what it is like to live in the forest.
I think this book is best for kids who like adventure and Fantasy and are between 7 and 14 years old.
Dad says: Page hasn’t been able to put these books down and finished the first series of 6 books before I would have read the blurb!!
Wolf and Bear

I like that this book has a beautiful message matched by beautiful illustrations.
My favourite part is when Wolf howls at the moon because she is singing for Bear.
I think this book is best for kids who like nature and colour and are between 0 and 9 years old.
Dad says: Beautiful book that opens up conversations about emotions, empathy and anger or could just be read, enjoyed and put back on the shelf!

I like this book because it is so funny and the illustrations are fantastic.
One of my favourite parts is the picture of a lion sitting on an iron because it’s hilarious!
I think this book is best for kids who like laughter and joy, and are between 0 and 10 years old.

Little People, Big Dreams - Rosa Parks

I like that even though she was treated badly as a black person she stayed strong.
My favourite part is when Rosa said “No” to a white person because she wasn’t going to let someone boss her around just because she is black.
I think this book is best for kids who want to be inspired to achieve their goals, and are 6+ years old.
Dad says: We’ve got several of these books and love them. They open up conversations and tell important stories, using language that children understand.
